A friend in New York has a very large, beautiful co-op in a great building in a hot neighborhood.  The interiors were decorated at great expense by a well-known designer and beautifully reflected my friend’s personality and lifestyle.  But it sat on the market for months.  Then they decided to “neutralize” the design and, almost like magic, interested buyers began to appear.    If you are thinking of selling, there are key questions you should ask yourself about the design of your space before putting it on the market.
