I’ve just learned that one of my favorite homes, Wallace Cunningham’s Razor House has just come to market for $30million. Built in 2008, this incredible glass, steel and concrete mansion sits on a cliff near Torrey Pines State Park in La Jolla and is notable for the series of terraces that overlook the Pacific Ocean, including a rooftop terrace that has a swimming pool and outdoor kitchen. Cunningham, a San Diego resident who studied at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West, designed the home using a cantilevered structure to emphasize sweeping ocean views.
For lovers of contemporary architecture, it just doesn’t get any better. In order to share the best perspectives of this extraordinary home I did a little digging…check out this article from 2011 to see a portfolio of breathtaking images.
